Phils lose lead after Velasquez`s sharp start

The Phillies` bullpen and defense imploded in the eighth inning Monday night in a 5-4 loss to the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. They carried a two-run lead into the bottom of the eighth, but Luis Garcia and Adam Morgan combined to allow three runs as the Phillies lost the opportunity to open a tough 10-game road trip with a win.
